Why do you, salesperson, have such a negative reputation?

I hear it all the time. “I just want to help!” “If only they’d listen.. we can make a huge impact on their business.” “Don’t they want more revenue?” We’re often appalled by how “terrible our buyers are.”

Pitching Up

”We help”, “we solve”, “we fix”, “I bring”, “I service”, “it simplifies”, “it consolidates”…
STOP! Not because it’s my theory.
STOP! Because it’s not how people change.
STOP! Because science isn’t opinion.
